The Most Wonderful (and Critical) Time of the Year
The Christmas season is our biggest time of year to collect donations for our programs serving youth.
The donations we collect during the holiday season not only help us provide gifts to children who would otherwise go without, but they also fund our most critical after-school and summer camp programs throughout the year. Every dollar raised helps give our youth the Christmas they deserve and the yearlong support they so desperately need.

Our Partners Make All the Difference
More than 4,000 children have been touched over the past 48 years through our programs and services, which are free and open to all school-age children in Monmouth County.
In everything we do, our goal is to keep our children learning and growing in every area of their lives year-round and to provide wraparound support to their families as well. To that end, we invite you to support our Annual Holiday Toy and Food programs. Each year, Aslan purchases food for all of our families’ Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.
However, what makes this a unique opportunity is over 200 of our dedicated volunteers commit to sponsoring an entire Aslan family for the holiday season. Volunteers request and are assigned an Aslan Family and purchase gifts for each member of that family. It is a beautiful time when volunteers celebrate with their families at the Aslan Christmas Celebration, sharing a meal and watching the smiles of each child as they open their gifts.
