Meet Claire Harbeck!

Aslan Youth Ministries is pleased to welcome Claire Harbeck as our new Director of Volunteers. Claire will fully support the overall Aslan mission of providing programs directly impacting the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of disadvantaged African-American youth (and their families).
These programs include tutoring, mentoring, summer camps, and various “right choices”, enrichment and leadership training classes. Claire will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing volunteers for these activities, as well as for annual fundraising events and holiday gift/food drives.
Claire comes to Aslan with thirty years of marketing and project management experience in the financial services and healthcare communications industries. She has also dedicated much of her time organizing volunteer initiatives to enrich the lives of families in the local community. She is past president of the Little Silver Schools PTO, the Red Bank Regional High School BUC Backer Foundation, and the Notre Dame Club of the Jersey Shore. Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and her Masters of Business Administration from Monmouth University. She is currently pursuing certification in Nonprofit Management at Brookdale Community College. Claire lives in Little Silver with her husband and their three sons.
This new initiative will help cultivate, screen and introduce volunteers to Aslan’s programs and our children. Aslan staff and Board of Directors thank the women of IMPACT 100 Jersey Coast for funding this program.
