Ra’Kim, who is on the autism spectrum, brings an infectious spark to our community. His boundless energy and enthusiasm light up every room, even though he can be a handful at times. Following in the footsteps of his older brother and mother, both former participants in our programs, Ra’Kim has embraced every opportunity to grow and thrive through our after-school programs and Right Choices curriculum. Thanks to the unwavering support of our counselors, he continues to feel valued and understood while navigating the challenges of autism.
Transforming Lives: Leticia’s Resilience
This generosity impacts children like Ra’Kim and creates opportunities for families like Leticia’s. Leticia, a resilient single mother, reconnected with Aslan during the struggles of the COVID-19 pandemic after suffering a devastating fall that resulted in memory loss. Today, all four of her children are active participants in our programs, experiencing the joy, support, and growth that Aslan offers.
