Aslan Youth to Host 19th Annual Golf Classic
A Celebration of 50 Years of Impact
Aslan Youth Ministries is excited to announce its 19th Annual Golf Classic, taking place on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 8 AM at Sun Eagles Golf Club in Eatontown, NJ. This year’s event is a highlight of Aslan’s 50th Anniversary celebration, commemorating five decades of dedicated service to children and families in Monmouth County and Haiti.
A special highlight of the day will be the participation of Fred Baxter, a former NFL tight end with an impressive 11-season career, who will serve as a celebrity golfer. Selected by the New York Jets in the fifth round of the 1993 NFL Draft, Baxter played college football for the Auburn Tigers before joining the Jets, Chicago Bears, and ultimately the New England Patriots, with whom he won a Super Bowl championship in 2003. Born in Brundidge, Alabama, Fred’s career journey is marked by his athleticism and commitment to teamwork and mentorship. Baxter continues to lead by example today. Now a successful entrepreneur and mentor, Baxter owns and operates several ventures, including EDU Sport Academy, Swing 2 Tee Golf Camp, and Plush Vodka.
In addition to a fun day on the course, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle and silent auction, featuring curated gift baskets including spa gift cards from Woodhouse Spa and Sperling Dermatology, restaurant gift cards to Char Steakhouse, and promotional items from local favorites like Rook Coffee.
