Beauty and the Beach Run a huge success!
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who participated at this year’s Beauty and the Beach Run for Women. We had an amazing day with picture perfect weather and over 500 women participating to support Aslan Youth Ministries’ work with urban children at risk.
MTV Jersey Shore cast member, Angelina Pivarnick, and Mrs. New Jersey 2018, Anne Pennington, were on-site to greet participants, give out awards, and take photos.
Mayor John Pallone presented us with a proclamation declaring September 28th as “Aslan Youth Ministries Day” in the City of Long Branch. And the Sansone’s gave a new car to a family in need.
With over, 40 vendors and sponsors we beat our fundraising goals!
The race was filmed by Ambrose Salmini, for Running, the flagship series on YES Network, reaching millions of viewers across the country. On our Facebook and Instagram, we achieved over 400,000 impressions (or a reach of over 230,000 people). And with the help of our celebrity guests we reached even more people.
