RUMSON, NJ– Aslan Youth Ministries will host their 14th Annual John Reid Memorial Golf Classic, Monday, October 7, 2019, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Rumson Country Club in Rumson, NJ. The day will include an open bar cocktail reception, awards buffet and 50/50 raffle. Golfers will receive prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, hole-in-one and more. Registration and lunch begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 PM.

The Golf Tournament Committee would like to welcome to the John Reid Memorial Golf Classic Celebrity Golfers and NFL Veterans and Superbowl Champions Fred Baxter, formerly of the New England Patriots and Otis Jerome Anderson, formerly of the New York Giants.
Both will be attending the awards banquet and golfing in the tournament.
In addition, Fred Baxter will bring “Plush”, a sophisticated vodka.

Each year, the John Reid Memorial Golf Classic raises funds to support the mission of Aslan Youth Ministries, a local nonprofit. A typical Aslan child comes from a broken single-parent home, lives in poverty and has difficulty in school because of their circumstances. Using academic professionals, Aslan’s programs have a focus on education. Volunteers are a huge component to the programs, providing mentoring, enrichment activities and spiritual guidance helping each student achieve. For 45 years, Aslan has been providing an individual plan and pathway to success for each student.
