Beauty and the Beach Run set for July 26 through September 27, 2020.
Aslan Youth’s annual fundraiser is Beauty and the Beach Run, held annually in the Fall. For the year 2020 Beauty will be known as Beauty and the Beach Run Change of Pace ~ a Run for Justice & Reconciliation. The year 2020 has been a difficult year, with the pandemic and a global call-to-action for racial equality and justice. We at Aslan recognize and celebrate our long history of 45 years of service to African-American children. Our belief that Black lives matter has been Aslan’s mission for 45 years. We’ve helped over 4,000 children achieve their goals and dreams, by bringing together diverse leadership, staff, community members and volunteers to benefit our children. We invite everyone to join us and celebrate our mission!
In addition, our race committee has been closely monitoring conditions at the NJ Shore and mandates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to State of NJ and local government mandates, we cannot plan an on-site race. It is our hope that by expanding the Beauty and the Beach Run to a virtual 5-Mile run or walk or a 5K run or walk, we will be able to recruit runners and walkers nationwide.
Join us. All proceeds benefit Aslan Youth Ministries and contributions are tax-deductible. Registration is open now. Run or walk virtually. This allows you to run/walk, upload your time, and take photos donning your race bib. Celebrate by uploading and tagging photos @beautyandthebeachrun

Border closure will affect availability and cost of daily necessities like food and fuel in an area that already lacks the basics. Until now, people were able to cross the bridge from Haiti into the DR by foot to buy what they needed…read more…
Living Proof That Black Lives Matter

Ever since Aslan was founded in 1975 we have been preaching the same message: “Faith, hope & love abide. And the greatest of these is love.”…read more…
